Internship Opportunities
Clinical Internship
At Journey to Clarity Counseling, we proudly welcome interns who are completing their master's degrees in counseling. Our dedicated interns bring fresh perspectives and up-to-date training, working under the supervision of Dr. Maya Cobb to provide high-quality care.
Dr. Cobb's supervision approach integrates the Psychodynamic Model and Bernard and Goodyear's Discrimination Model, emphasizing unconscious processes, transference, and self-reflection while also providing structured roles as teacher, counselor, and consultant. This comprehensive method aims to enhance your clinical skills, self-awareness, and professional development in a collaborative and supportive environment.
We welcome a one or two semester internship commitment.
Admin Internship
Our clinical interns have the opportunity to work with the administrative team for increased hours. Admin hours are paid as Dr. Cobb believes that interns should have an opportunity to "have some money in their pocket" while they complete their last leg of schooling.
*Admin interns do not have to be master's level students*
